"SAINT LOUIS" is an original portrait of King Louis IX of France, the only King to reach sainthood. I live in St. Louis and currently there are individuals that want to erase this man from history. After looking more deeply into his life and accomplishments, I have found myself in awe of the positive and loving acts this King displayed during his reign. From defending his people and the holy land from slaughter to feeding the homeless on a regular basis. This painting is to honor the man our city is named after. I am proud to live in a city named after this strong man of God.
